Four stages in extremely high temperatures and against the best possible competition: the Tour de Suisse was the biggest challenge in NEXETIS' young history to date. Competing in the first Women’s World Tour race at the Tour de Suisse Women was a powerful and defining experience for the young Swiss continental team. “With a strong overall performance including Jasmin Liechti 12th place at the Stage 3 and 21st in the general classification for Ginia Caluori, we’ve shown that we belong in this field", says team manager Anna Wiese.

Most importantly, every rider gave her best. Every rider committed fully, every staff member worked tirelessly, and together they raced with heart, courage, and pride. “The results prove that we are not far off. We are already able to compete with some of the best in the world.”

The performance at the Tour de Suisse confirmed that the team is on the right pathway. "While the level across our team still varies – as expected for a developing squad – we see clear progression and the race gave us invaluable insights into where we can improve", says Wiese.

Now the team is turning its attention to the MTB World Cup in Val di Sole and the National Championships on the road, a key opportunity for the riders to showcase themselves on home soil once again and take the next step in their progression. After the Nationals, the Volta a Portugal Feminina is on the agenda – team and staff are looking forward to the next races!
