NEXETIS is back. The UCI Continental Team launched by Swiss Cycling is kicking off preparations for its second competitive year with a kick-off camp in the snow. The program in Davos includes cross-country skiing sessions and training on stationary bikes. ‘It's about welcoming the new team members, pushing ahead with planning together as a group and getting back into the swing of things after a long break,’ says Head of Sports Edi Telser.

Linda Indergand has joined the team as Sports Director, primarily covering the mountain biking discipline. Mara Winter will also be wearing the NEXETIS jersey for the first time. The 19-year-old from the canton of Graubünden made a name for herself at the end of September by finishing 20th at the Cross-Country World Cup in Lenzerheide, where she was one of the youngest competitors in the U23 field. ‘Mara has a lot of potential both on the road and in mountain biking,’ says Telser.

After the kick-off camp, preparations will continue in Tuscany. The start of the competition season is scheduled for mid-February.
