Strength/specialty
My strength is that I love cycling. I wanted to ride my bike as much as possible, so I quit my job, and moved to Switzerland. The correct answer, however, is that I'm really good in long climbs.
Weakness
My weakness is that I hate ghosts. The correct answer, though, is that I lack sprinting power.
What is your greatest success?
My greatest success was discovering cycling and meeting everyone at NEXETIS.
What is your secret talent that no one knows about?
My secret talent is that I can eat chocolate forever without getting tired of it.
If you could visit any place in the world you've never been to, where would you go and why?
If I could visit any place I've never been before, I would choose heaven because I want to know what happens to humans after they die.
Who inspires you and why?
The person who inspires me the most is my father. After my mother passed away when I was in junior high school, he took on the responsibility of leading our family. He has always supported me from behind the scenes and I deeply admire his strength and dedication.
What is the craziest thing you've ever done?
The craziest thing I've ever done was riding 450 km non-stop along the border of Kanagawa Prefecture (where I live) in just under 30 hours. I don’t even remember what happened along the way - lol!
If you weren't a professional cyclist, what would you be instead, and why?
If I weren’t a professional cyclist, I would be a traveler. I love exploring unknown places by bike, riding long distances to faraway destinations, meeting new people, and experiencing delicious local food.
